Hi, We know the pictures were for Kelly, but we enjoyed them anyway. It looks like there are a lot of happy children there, probably because of all the attention they are getting. The climate here is hot and very humid...Kind of like Dallas in the middle of July but worse...It's OK though, after a few minutes in the heat everyone is as sweaty as the next person!
The people here are some of the most friendly people I have ever met. They always offer a smile and Sri Lankan head nod regardless of the situation. Their skin is bronzed by the tropical sun and their eyes capture your heart the second you see them. They work hard every day for a better life and make do with so much less than they should have to. It's a beautiful place!
There are a lot of opportunities here to serve as the people have some real concerns regarding health care and nutrition.
I miss you and cant wait to see you in a few months.
